Hix Hacks Profile

Nationally known and recognized professional bladesmith and blacksmith artist native to the Black Hills.  Specializing in handcrafted steel art in various forms from historical weaponry to free standing sculpture.  Deeply influenced by western culture, Nick has become highly enlightened in history and folklore, teaching and educating the art form of steel manipulation.  From masterfully created mosaic Damascus patterns of layered steel, combined and manipulated into custom designs of all kinds.  Nick took his skill and love of bladesmithing to film on the History Channels hit television show, Forged in Fire in 2019 (episode 7-27 Ikakalaka).  Every piece produced by Nick comes with a lifetime of experience and the spirit of his soul.  Truly unique, one of a kind, magnificent artworks.
